It takes three days to make each of these decorative teapots, which will bring a country mood to your kitchen or collection. Each surface is hand-hammered, for individual character. Mix and match this with another of Worldstock's Nepalese copper styles.
These teapots are made in Biswakarma, in western Nepal. As a locally available material, copper has been a staple of Biswakarma art for generations. However, each of these teapots also contains an element of recycled copper, for the sustainable management of the resource.
The Association of Craft Producers works with hundreds of mostly rural producers, bringing their authentic traditions to a modern market. One of Nepal's largest artisan organizations, the ACP acts as a central service hub, providing technical, logistical and marketing support so that rural producers can practice their craft at home. Savings and other mutual assistance programs bridge the gap between a craft skill and genuine financial self-sufficiency.
